You find out your degree classification shortly before you graduate from university.

Once you have the results from your final exams, you can use an online degree classification calculator to predict what your degree classification will be. Your tutor or academic services office will likely send you an email that confirms your official classification shortly after your final exam results are published.

Put your degree classification on your CV if it’s a 2:1 or above.

Because most employers and graduate schemes require candidates to possess at least a 2:1, consider leaving your degree classification out of your CV’s qualifications summary if you get a 2:2 or 3rd.
